According to Suzuki, the Splash is aimed at young families wishing to combine everyday practicality with sporty style, a fun car with a serious purpose!
The New Splash is based on the Swift, Suzuki's European-built supermini. Developed and designed exclusively by Suzuki, the Splash has been engineered for smooth low-end torque, buyers can choose from two petrol units, a three-cylinder 1.0-litre or a four-cylinder 1.2, or opt for the 1.3-litre diesel powerplant engine.
The trio of engines are all available with a five-speed manual with all variants included as standard, while the higher-powered petrol car gets a four-ratio auto. With the most efficient models producing 120g/km of CO2, the Splash is green, too.
Along with ABS, Suzuki plans to take the Splash a bit more upmarket, all Splashes will have ESP, with GL and GLX trim levels and six airbags and pedestrian-friendly energy-absorbing panels. It incorporates stability control and air conditioning fitted to every model. The exciting new Suzuki Splash will be arriving in the UK in March 2008 so pre-order now to be the first in line for this exciting compact model!
