Bob Wade owner and operator of Stratton Cabs recently swapped his Ford Galaxy MPV and Peugeot 407 Diesel Estate for two Kia Sedona Diesel MPV's which he purchased from Kia Sales Executive Ben Hopes; and struck a sponsorship deal with NMG for the service contract. Mr Wade said of Kia " The vehicle offered me so much more value for money as well as the comfort, room and luxury my customers and clients expect, I am delighted so far with the Sedona's".

Trevor Forkes, Kia Sales Manager added that he was delighted with the deal and especially with Ben Hopes, as Ben had only recently joined the company and the motor trade and this was a testament to his commitment to the job.

Team NMG won their first trophy at the karting. Team NMG Kia which included Keith Sivier, Ollie Forkes and Daniel Burgess turned in a stonking performance and took 2nd place after starting 5th on the grid. Ollie ended his session putting the team into 3rd place, Daniel then put in a great aggressive drive taking them in to 2nd place followed by snarling Sivier who maintained 2nd place ,they really did us proud. The fastest lap time in the team went to Ollie Forkes with a 52.90 seconds only 0.62 tenths of a second slower than the overall fastest lap of the night, which went to the winners Wrights Mazda. Team NMG Ssangyong included Tony Burns, Daniel Thorpe, Ben Jones & Lee Horton finished in 12th place. Team NMG Suzuki included Ben Hopes, Daniel Coverdale, Stuart Higgins & Luke Roberts finished in 14th place out of 14, but hey they can only get better.

Funny moments during the night must include Keith's comment regarding Ben Hopes who had one or two slides and mishaps during the evening to which Keith said "I knew when I was passing Ben Hopes because he was coming toward me and I saw his face".

Also Ben Jones who asked " do you go flat out on all the bends" to which we said "oh yes" soon found his self on 1st name terms with most of the crash barriers and tyre walls. But as the night went on he did get much better. Overall a good night was had by all but most important of all we beat team Lotus Sport 1 (who finished 4th)
