Suzuki GB PLC is pleased to announce the enhancement of its VAT free offer which now includes three of its small car models - Alto, Splash and Swift. This latest offer helps customers take advantage of an easier way to buy a new car for the New Year and Suzuki is the only manufacturer currently offering three different models from its range at less than £9,000.
Additionally, to assist buyers in the 18-35 category as well as those looking for a low deposit and low monthly payment option, Suzuki has introduced further affordability options with low rate PCP (Personal Contract Purchase) schemes on Alto, Splash and Swift models. This means that an Alto SZ2 at £6,666 is available for a deposit of £1,406 followed by 42 monthly payments of just £99 with the option to pay a final balloon payment of £2,468 at the end of the agreement to keep the car.
Alto SZ2 is currently the most inexpensive car to buy and own with Group 1E insurance rating and just £20 per year in VED charges. Fuel consumption is very low, offering 64mpg on the combined cycle and emissions of 103g/km.
Moving up the range and taking a Splash SZ2 1.0-litre at £7,777 as an example on Personal Contract purchase; a deposit of £1,777 is all that is required followed by 42 monthly payments of £119 and an optional final payment of £2,591 at the end of the agreement.
For a similar PCP for a Swift and using an SZ2 three door at £8,888 as an example, the deposit is just £159 followed by 42 monthly payments of £159 and a final payment of £3,294 at the end of the agreement. All Suzuki dealers operate an online calculator via Suzuki Financial Services which helps buyers choose a flexible repayment scheme to suit their individual budget. If Hire Purchase is the preferred route for a Swift, Suzuki will provide a £500 deposit towards a payment plan operated by Suzuki Financial Services.
Suzuki’s highly competitive 0% APR three year Hire Purchase finance offers available on SX4 and Grand Vitara models will also continue until the end of March 2012, both requiring a 50 per cent deposit.
Kia's Approved Used Car Scheme has been recognised as the best in the industry having been crowned Used Car Scheme of the Year in the Auto Express Used Car Awards 2011 which were announced today.
Auto Express praised Kia for going above and beyond normal approved used programmes with a number of customer benefits including its industry-leading seven year warranty that is fully transferable to subsequent owners.
Approved Used Kias don't just get the balance of their manufacturer warranty. Instead, the warranty is topped back up to the full seven years meaning that an Approved Used Kia gets the same warranty as a brand new Kia.
It wasn't just the warranty that impressed them though. Explaining their decision, Auto Express commented: "Plus, you get 60 days or 1,000 miles in which to change your mind. Add to this two years of breakdown cover, seven days' free drive-away insurance and a useful online car locator, and you have a cracking approved scheme."
Commenting on the award, John Hargreaves, Head of Vehicle Remarketing, Kia Motors (UK) Limited said: "When we launched our Approved Used Car Scheme we set out to ensure it really did represent the best possible deal for customers so we're obviously very proud that this been recognised by Auto Express with this award.
"Resetting our pioneering seven year warranty back to new when you buy an Approved Used Kia really differentiates us from other schemes - it means that a Kia could be under warranty for some eight and a half years in total. We believe this shows that our high level of confidence in the product isn't just limited to when a car is new.
"The strength of our Approved Used Car Scheme is also a key factor in the strong residual values we're achieving across our range" added Hargreaves.
Vehicles sold under Kia's Approved Used Car Scheme are up to 18 months old, with up to 18,000 miles, and come with the following benefits:

The all-new Kia Picanto - launched in June - has captured the Best Supermini title in What Car? Magazine's Green Awards 2011.
Described by Editor-in-Chief, Chas Hallett as "remarkably grown up", the three-cylinder petrol engine equipped Picanto impressed because its NOx emissions are 25 times less than its nearest diesel-engined rival in the category - the Ford Fiesta 1.6 TDCi 95 Econetic.
What Car? commented that the Picanto's sub 100g/km emission level means no London Congestion Charge and no road tax. The magazine also commented: "Average fuel economy of 67.3 mpg is also hugely impressive".
There was also praise for Picanto's living-space. What Car? said: "the cabin is surprisingly classy for such a cheap car and the driving position isn't the sit-up-and-beg sort that blights budget motors.
"We think the ‘1 Air' trim makes the most sense. It gets the all-important air-conditioning, electric front windows and Kia's famous seven-year warranty, but crucially doesn't push the price into the territory of full-size superminis," the magazine concluded.
Collecting the award, Mr Soo Huh, President of Kia Motors (UK) Ltd., said: "We are honoured that What Car? has recognised the enormous effort that has gone into making Picanto one of the cleanest superminis on the market. We are delighted that its package of economy, environmental-friendliness and sophistication in a value package is already appealing to huge numbers of British motorists."
• VAT cut to 7 per cent across the cee'd family range (excluding VR-7)
• £2000 off Rio and Venga models with the 7 Year Switch programme
• £500 Loyalty offers for existing Picanto owners purchasing a new Picanto
• £1500 off Sorento and Carens
• £1000 off Soul 'Echo'
NMG have today announced a comprehensive series of offers that will run until the end of September.
The number seven is most often associated with Kia due to its industry-leading seven year warranty. Throughout quarter three, Kia has reduced the level of VAT that customers pay on the cee'd range of vehicles down to just seven per cent - representing a 13 per cent saving.
This means that you can now own an entry level 1.4 pro_cee'd '1' from £11,938, a 1.4 cee'd '1' from £12,116 and a 1.6 cee'd SW '2' from £14,124. This offer applies to all cee'd versions except for the VR-7 special edition. The VR-7 is however eligible for its own offer of £500 contribution towards a PCP agreement.
The 7-Year Switch programme has been extended until the end of September 2011 for all derivatives of Rio and Venga models. The programme, which was introduced after the end of the government's scrappage scheme, means that customers with a seven to ten year old car that has less than 100,000 miles on the clock and a valid MOT can trade in their vehicle and get £2000 off a brand new Rio or Venga.
Owners of the previous generation Picanto are eligible for a £500 loyalty reward against the purchase of an all new Picanto. Along side this, customer savings are available across the range, with savings of between £500 for a Venga and up to £1500 off a Sorento or Carens. The Soul Echo is available with £1000 off whilst other Soul versions have savings of £500.
