Why should I use a franchised main dealer for my service work?
If you own a Kia or Suzuki vehicle, we have factory-trained and accredited technicians who work on these vehicles most of the time and use knowledge and expertise developed from extensive training. They use correct diagnostic equipment and parts and the most suitable lubricants. Our staff have to continue their training and development with the franchise, keeping abreast of the latest technology and models - your guarantee and peace of mind. They also have the technical resources of our franchises at their disposal and can call on factory assistance. It is also fundamental to the resale value of your vehicle that it has a dealer-stamped service history, which is also critical on warranty claims - if your vehicle has been serviced using the wrong lubricants it can have a serious impact on engine performance and wear.

But main dealer prices are expensive.
Not necessarily true - incorrect diagnostics, incorrect or incompatible parts and poor or incorrect repairs carried out by people without the relevant knowledge can cost you more money in the long run. I've checked online and I can use a service brokerage site or express fitting centre and they will save me money.
We have price-checked some of the most searched sites and monitor them weekly so can match or better almost every genuine like-for-like quote they offer. It is also always advisable to check exactly what is being offered.

Under Block Exemption I do not have to have my car serviced at a main dealer.
That is true but there are many terms and conditions linked to your warranty which, if not complied with, are going to invalidate your warranty claim and/or affect your vehicle's resale value. It is important that schedules for time and mileage and content of service are adhered to as well as using correct parts and lubricants. Almost weekly we are presented with vehicles that now have more serious issues as they were not serviced correctly or the wrong parts and lubricants were used.

What is a full dealer service history worth?
It is truly impossible to say but any reputable retailer will confirm that a dealer-stamped and signed service history is far better than one with all sorts of stamps and levels of competency attached.
