The Legend Clive Retires!
Clive Rayner, wife Maité and daughter Emilie celebrate Clive's 65th birthday and him completing 33+ years of service at NMG and ready to embark on his retirement.
Seen here alongside his new Kia Sportage with Maité and Emilie.
Grant Long - Managing Director of NMG who presented the retirement gift, said, "Clive was the last of the so called, NMG Lifers, having earlier this year parted with our longest ever serving member of staff. In this day and age, it is seldom anyone will work for one Company for this length of time and spend more time at work than at home. Clive has had an excellent career at NMG, starting as Sales Executive, then Sales Manager and latterly as the Group's Used Car Buyer. Always the perfect gentlemen, always respected, Clive was even introduced to wife Maité by the Chairman of NMG, John Hewitt, the rest as they say, is history. Clive will be missed by everyone. The Directors of NMG are grateful for his loyalty and contributions and wish him the very happiest of retirement. Perhaps now, Clive will be able to indulge his other passion, as a serious adventure and endurance cyclist and member of the Norwich Velo Club."
Clive was presented with a watch, gift vouchers, and a framed certificate.
Maité was also presented with a bouquet for allowing Clive to work here.
