NMG WITH AWARDS FOR ALL
Laurie Saye and wife Patricia celebrate Laurie completing 45 years of service at NMG and about to embark on his retirement.
Seen here with Grant Long - Managing Director of NMG, who said, "This was a special day for Laurie and for Pat as 45 Years of Loyal Service and Retirement is somewhat of a milestone in anyone's life and career. Laurie started work at NMG as an Apprentice Technician and was one our founding members of staff. Over the years, he moved from the service side to the Preparation Department and finally to Parts as our Trade Representative, he has worked at NMG for almost all of his working life, a feat not likely to be replicated these days at any business. His wife Pat is looking forward to him catching up on the DIY. The Directors of NMG are grateful for his loyalty and contribution, he will be missed by everyone."
Laurie was presented with a watch, gift vouchers, champagne, and a framed certificate. Pat received a bouquet for allowing Laurie to work here.
NMG of Norwich held its annual staff awards as the Company celebrated with 7 of its staff their Long Service Awards for 2016.
(Left to right: Paul Brown (15yrs) Pat and Laurie Saye, Ian Cozens (5yrs) Mandy Cossey and Martin Kirrage (10yrs) With Mike Foster (10yrs) was sadly unable to attend the presentation and Jim Baldwin (10yrs) missed the photo shoot as he was handing over a new Kia to another of his customers)
Managing Director of NMG, Grant Long (shown at the back,) said "This year the awards were slightly later than normal to allow for Laurie's retirement. These awards have become something the staff look forward to each year and we enjoy making a presentation for their loyalty and commitment to the Company and the customers. Aside from Laurie's, the other awards were for 15, 10 and 5 years. It is always difficult to find good staff and when you find them, it is essential that they receive the recognition they deserve. Our long service awards are a small gesture of our appreciation" and I confess, the staff all seem to enjoy them and look forward to the annual presentations. The staff recipients all received gift certificates, a bottle of champagne and framed service certificates.
